About Brandi Lentz
A Hillsboro native, Brandi began her real estate career in the Chicago suburbs in 2001, gaining valuable experience across residential, commercial, agricultural, and industrial properties. She earned her Managing Broker’s License in 2004 and went on to establish Pike County Real Estate, Inc. in 2005. After building a successful company, Brandi sold her interest and returned to her hometown of Hillsboro in 2007. The following year, she purchased Montgomery County Realty from Kim Noyes and now serves as the Designated Managing Broker.
Under Brandi’s leadership, the company has grown significantly and now operates under MCR Realty Professionals, Inc., offering a full spectrum of services including real estate sales, appraisals, and auctioneering. In addition to her brokerage work, Brandi is a Certified Residential Appraiser and a Licensed Auctioneer. She is committed to lifelong learning and regularly completes advanced coursework to stay ahead in an ever-changing market.
In 2024, Brandi stepped into a leadership role on a different front – advocating for property owners during the County Assessor’s attempt to implement a drastic wooded acreage taxation policy. She spearheaded the fight against this unfair measure, which threatened to raise taxes by up to 1,400%, and successfully protected local landowners. While already well versed in property values, this experience inspired her to deepen her understanding of assessments by enrolling in courses through the Illinois Property Assessment Institute. Her ongoing education supports her mission to defend taxpayers from inequitable property taxation in one of the highest taxed states in the nation.
Clients turn to Brandi for her professionalism, integrity, and in-depth market knowledge. She is known for her tireless work ethic, thoughtful communication, and ability to guide clients through every stage of a transaction with confidence and care.
A 1997 graduate of Hillsboro High School, Brandi went on to earn an Associate Degree from Lincoln Land Community College in 1998 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Springfield in 2000. Her professional credentials include the ABR® (Accredited Buyer’s Representative), SFR® (Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource), and CNE® (Certified Negotiation Expert) designations. In 2010, she was honored as the Litchfield Chamber of Commerce’s Rising Star of the Year.
Brandi remains deeply involved in her community. She is an active member of the Hillsboro and Litchfield Chambers of Commerce, a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and currently serves on the Hillsboro Health Systems & Services Boards.
Brandi and her husband, Matt, have three children – Carter, Ethan, and Reagan. Her passion for real estate and unwavering dedication to her community continue to drive her forward.
